This is really shocking for the nation that the honorable Home Minister Mr. P. chidambaram got hit by a shoe in a press conference. Some people take it lightly saying that this is yet another case similar to the one in which US president Bush got hit by two shoes in Iraq during the press conference.

But just give it a thought, that US prez never got hit in his own country by his own country man. Instead it was some other country and it was a protest by citizen of some other country. This is really heart breaking that being a citizen of India and the person is hitting his country’s Home Minister by a show. There are many ways to protest in India, they might be slow impacting but atleast do not disregard the people who lead India. You do not respect them but does that mean you have the right to insult them?

India needs a real change !!

Now its spam SMS

Heard about spam, junk emails which claims that you won million dollars over a night ? I have this blog entry here explaining these sorta unsolicited/hoax emails. Well this time outta usual i was spammed on my mobile with a spam text message (SMS). One could have ignored it for the first time, but if you be the paranoid then you can see how much bad this bring to you. The sms reads as:

!!Urgent!Your number has been selected for a $5,000 prize guaranteed! To claim your prize call +447559052432

It was sent from a SMS gateway and that is why i see the Message Sender as “Urgent”. First i thought of ignoring this SMS, but later on i realized i should report this spam sms to help my government, especially after the mumbai attacks. But then i couldn’t build the courage to do so, as in india everyone is aware of the law & order system. I do not know about the senders of this SMS, but i will be in trouble for no reason but just to help India.

I discussed it with my friends at office and one of the paranoid guy told me that if you call on that number they gonna clone your IMEI and then give a terror/hoax calls and you the one who will be put in question.

Later on discussed it with TwilightFairy and she gave me a sorta relevant answer, that if i call on this number then i can be charged on different pulse rate and the benefit goes to the senders of that sms. That might be the revenue model for their business

But they put a realistic amount of $5,000 and sometimes compel people to believe that the SMS is legit. But trust me guys this is all hoax. Just a question, you did not do anything anywhere and how suddenly you gonna get $5,000 outta blue ?

So be Scam Smart, dont let yourself go down with these sorta hoax sms,emails or calls. Be vigilant !!

Spread awareness for HIV with condom-condom a capella

Hi Guys,

Where the world stand against terrorism and other evils in the world, i believe HIV AIDS is one of the worst evil. AIDS is is spreading across india mischievously, with 25 lakhs+ reported cases, outta which 80% cases are of the age less than 25 years (source: radio mirchi). There may be thousand more which are not reported or are not aware of the fact that they are suffering from a dreadful situation.

The BBC World service trust with mass media has started this campaign to stop transmitting this deadly disease to the core of india and weaken the strength of this colorful country. This will help spreading the word to common people those who avoid talking about this sensible issue.

We the young blood of india need to stand against the terror which is haunting our coming generations day by day. Please spread the word, cause that is the only way we can normalise the use of condom in india, where we hesitate to talk about it.

Please be careful in the week of January 13.This might be some random observation of sequence dates of bomb blasts or terror attacks. But there’s no harm in keeping ourselves alert.
