Disable System Beep in UBUNTU

Hiya guys,

I know its annoying when UBUNTU makes system beep. Well you can disable it using a simple command.

sudo rmmod pcspkr

And now if you want to enable it use the command:

sudo modprobe pcspk

Lol it’s even simpler in gnome go to System>preferences>sound, select system beep, there you have it you can uncheck it and even better you can have the visual beep which can flash the titlebar of the window or flash the whole screen :P

that is for kids dude, we taking about shell here :P
