XP LOGON CHANGED after NETGEAR INSTALLATION

After you installed the beautiful netgear’s wireless Lan Card, suddenly you realized that after a reboot, you computer/laptop asks for a password, phewwww what is that ? You never had one and even if you had, then the screen used to have a nice GUI but it has changed to a classic login screen..

aww Hell !! Blame netgear .. No guys, No one should be blamed for it, eventually it happens most of the time, when certain DLLs got overridden.. A simple solution to this is to download this loginfix available at http://www.dougknox.com/xp/scripts_desc/fix_xp_logon.htm

or you can also download the patch directly from here.

It is a small file, just execute it and vola !! you are through with it and can have you nice GUI back icon wink XP LOGON CHANGED after NETGEAR INSTALLATION

cheers !! Enjoy !!
